Food For Thought

I’ve volunteered with Food For Thought many times packing meals, and I’m always so impacted by my time with them. It’s emotional to see the depth of need in our community, and the work they’re doing to bridge the gaps of food insecurity in our local area is so powerful and needed. Food For Thought provides free meals to over 3,600 children year-round across 36 schools along the Emerald Coast.

Be Generous

BeGenerous is owned and operated by my good friend Stephanie McMinn who has a heart of gold. The girls call Stephanie “momma Steph” because she treats them all like daughters. She and her team work tirelessly to rescue women from abuse, trafficking, and drug addiction. Not only do they provide safety and housing, they also journey with the girls through physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. They then empower their “daughters” with jobs in the local community. Stephanie and her team are a blessing to our area.

Westonwood Ranch

Westonwood Ranch helps kids, teens, and young adults with intellectual disabilities develop crucial life skills through hands-on learning at their 40-acre farm in Freeport. As someone with an autistic child, this organization is deeply meaningful to me, and I’m so grateful our community has Westonwood Ranch! I often see participants of Westonwood Ranch out at our local farmers markets selling goods that they learned to make during their classes. The level of self confidence and joy that their programs bring to these sweet kids is invaluable!

Sandcastle Kids

Founded & run by a fellow local real estate agent, this wonderful organization provides dream vacations to families with children that have serious and terminal illnesses. To accomplish this they partner with local homeowners and rental management companies. If you'd like to participate, please let me know!
